I was wondering When I start my Jeep in the morning it will not idle and when I put it in gear to drive after a 5 min warm up it dies and I have to rev it a couple of times and at times put it in drive or reverse and put the gas and brake on and then slowly let off the brake and it will hesitate and then after I get going it is fine. Any answers?

I have the same problem but I removed my choke. It sounds like you are have a choke problem. Take some carb cleaner and spray it on the outside of the carb to get some of the grime off. The easiest is usually the best.

When you crank up do you press the pedal to the floor once to engage the fast idle? Also, is the engine actually warm after 5 mins? The other week I tried to crank up and speed off like I do in my toyota only to stall constantly and do the whole brake riding thing, only remembering how warm my engine really has to be to run smoothly. To me, it seems like the engine is not all the way warmed up before you go.

I think it is a choke thing also but also it is cold as hell here in Utah. It will only do it once in awhile and I think my automatic chole is not working properly. I would like to just get a whole new carb for it.
