Center Console.. Any suggestions?

I want to remove the tiny seat/arm rest and replace with a higher longer nice black console. Something that has a storage box and drink holders. I've looked at some at advanced auto but all are crap.

So has any one replaced theirs with one like i described? Picures, thoughts would be nice smile.gif

Panther's got one in his Chero. I think it's a Tuffy for a little Jeep. It looks sweet and fits like stock. I don't know if he's got a pic of it on his site.

Walmart has one that is not bad. It is around $25.
That is what I am installing when I get around to the interior.
I think it is called The Clutter Catcher.

Yeah just about any one of the wrangler or cj consoles out there will work.
Consoles are a_get_what_ya_pay_for item in my opinion. You can get a cheapo Steel Horse or nice Tuffy and pay accordingly. I have the 10" CJ console and it's a little tight between the seats but works well. I do have a couple pics in the "interoir" section of the cherokee page.

I use the Clutter Catcher from WalMart also. Its on my site under "Photo Page". Works Great! I also modified it to fit my stereo.

I made my own from 1/8 thick plastic. It took me about a day and works very well. I still haven't bolted it down been lazy. There are others that have made one that ties into the A/C system to pump air into the back.

Top is padded
coin holder and sunglass holder

Fits perfect between FSJ seats.
Can be intalled far enough forward to allow back seat flip up. Cup holders arent the best but they work.

I dyed mine a slightly darker shade of gray to match my interior.

I was looking at that one you have ramjet, seems to be exactly what im looking for. 4wheelparts.com has it for 85.00, not to bad.

I'm not a big fan of Steelhorse products. Everything I have ever bought from them has fallen apart or rusted out within a year.
I also went with Tuffy. It was a solution for both center console and stereo mounting. Its a very well built unit.
