help... transmission woes pt2

[Torque]

So here is where I'm at...(torqueflight 727)
(Neither the tranny or torque converter was drainned prior to the engine rebuild)
1-Transmission fluid check and proper level
2-throttle valve checked and ok
3-gear shift linkage checked and ok
4-removed access cover and obsereved torque converter spinning
5-engine starts in park and neutral only

The problem is I have no response from the transmission.Even in park the truck can be rolled.Also when I shift there is no change nor can I feel the tranny engage.I let the motor run in neutal for about 10 min to 'pump' up the tranny as suggested but still nothing.Any suggestion would be most helpful

Hi gs,
Well I talk to the guys at the tranny shop,and if I can get ahold of my friend,the truck will be dropped off tonight.I may have failed to set the torque converter properly in place.I so want to be driving this weekend(Monday is a holiday up here)Next couple weeks going to be super busy so if I dont pay the tranny shop no work will get done.Now if only I could get a tax deduction for educational expenses
