i was over at my grandpa's house the other day and about 10 years ago he owned a 79 wag with the QT full time, and i found i his garage a bottle the said on it Quadra Trac Transfer Case oil and i was wondering what this is for and where does it go when a guy goes to put it in?

It's x-case juice for the 73-79 BW/QT's. You don't need the special stuff in your x-cae. Just plain old Dexron II,III ATF.
