TFI not starting

Just installed the tfi kit (juicebox) on my 83 cherokee 6 cyl and shes not starting. I had the same kit on my 81 and it started right up. I pulled it off and reinstalled on the 83. I followed all instructions, and installed new plugs so I don't know where to begin troubleshooting. Does anyone have any advice on where to begin or what to check. Thanks!

I assume you have no spark?if so check your coil pos. wire should have power with key on.coil neg wire should pulse your test light while cranking. If not you are not getting a signal from module or dist.coil. check your grounds good.here is a link to a good page about tfi.has a good schematic that might help.

also is it trying to start? could dist. timing be off?(if dizzy was taken out)
