Guys;
My front sway-bar bushings appear to be deterrioting. (1)Where is the best place to get new bushings at the best price? (2)What is the best/easiest way to change/replace these bushings with the least amount of headaches?

Thanx,
Fitron74

Try to find a spring shop near you to see if they have bushings for ya. Otherwise, you might try www.espo.com. (http://www.espo.com.)

It's a 30-45 minute job to replace the swaybar and endlink bushings -- IF you don't have to fight seized bolts. In fact, the trickiest part can be getting the endlink bushings in -- using WD-40 and a C-clamp works best for me.

Polyurethane bushings will really make a big difference in the way your Jeep handles.

I use Energy Suspension bushings because that's what are available at Jegs (which is a local store for me). The swaybar bushings are P/N 5109 if you have a 15/16" sway bar (most J-series Jeeps), available for about $15 from Jegs or Summit. The endlink bushings are P/N 8107, about $3.50/pair and you need two pairs. They're actually listed as shock absorber bushings, or "shock eyes," but that's what J-series Jeeps used in each enlink.
