I have a 83 Wag with 360and 727 anyway it done this twice in the last 2 weeks. I back up and put it in drive and the tranny starts slipping and it sounds like something is rubbing. If I give some gas and get the RPM's up it stops and starts pulling like it should and the rubbing stops. Torque converter maybe? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

No It is full I found out I need to check the low reverse band and if that doesn't fix it then the tranny has to be rebuilt. Because the reverse clutch is going out.
