Hey all,

Finally getting down to putting all those new locks in... Door locks are done, preliminary page is up! Missing one picture (of where the retainer clip fits) but otherwise its good!

Door Lock How-To (http://members.shaw.ca/mandyandandy/Jeeplocks.htm)

For those of you with non-functional door locks, this is an EASY fix... I'd say 1 banana, 1 tool, and one smoke (no beer required!)

Freezer Life up north is Great! I got the Jeep ALL MUDDY last night smile.gif Lifes good when you can get VERY dirty within 5 minutes from home (makes getting stuck not so bad too!)

Hows life in calgary? I miss my hometown!

If anyone is interested, I carry those door locks. I would sell them to you guys for $10 per door. Let me know if you are interested!

4 door locks?! where did you find 4?! Two front doors... tailgate?! Glove box is identical I take it?

If I can find a steering wheel puller in the near future, I'll get going on the ignition lock/switch AND tightening up the very loose tilt steering...

I'm going to try to document all my upcoming repairs (as my rig is a VERY typical FSJ of 23 years, with all the little problems) I'll keep adding to the site with similar how-tos... Wouldn't mind a few other people helping out, so I don't have to muddle my way through ALL the repairs smile.gif (See FSJ documentation project post in the General Discussion Forum)
