My losing water problem has been solved. I was told the water pump is sealing itself when it is running because of the heat. However, when it stops it must force water out to relieve pressure. That sounds exactly like what was going on. I need to buy a water pump. How much should I pay for a rebuilt one?

A remanufactured water pump in the Greenville, NC area is about $39.00. New for about $50.00. I just installed a FlowKooler water pump on mine that I got from Summit for $79.00 and it runs very nice.

This would be a good time to replace the hoses, belts and thermostat as well if you haven't already.

Don't forget the radiator cap and new clamps too. And flush the entire system and new coolant.

I went to Advance Auto Parts and picked up a new water pump with life time warranty for around 40 dollars. I also went ahead and got the thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, and drive belts. Now all I need to do is get now plugs, wires, a new fuel filter, new air filter, and washer fluid and the spring upgrade is complete.

Yes I did, and every one I sent you came right back. Do you have another address other than Hotmail? Maybe Yahoo or something.
