I have searched and searched. I saw some photos of Porkchop's old QT with the cable conversion.
I have one question?
Do you have to cut the little diaphram off and then weld a peice of metal to the rod???
I tried this without cutting any thing and making a home fab connection to the vac hose connectors on the outside diaphram. I couldn't get it to shift into E-lock.
HELP!!!

yes you do, cut off the metal housing with the diaphragm leaving the rod intact, then weld some all-thread or bolt,to the end of the actuator rod. I beleive PC has a write up on his web page. FYI, I am currently in possesion of the xfr case with the "Porkchop cable actuator", it is waiting for insertion into my vehicle. Very nifty piece of work.
its really quite easy.i have a few pics of mine here.

Mark...is that shifter mechanism for your QT and Low range setup from a boat? It sure looks similar to the one on mine....Where did you get that shifter?
