1) Check the fuse
2) Hook a test light up on the wire just before the horn (and ground it). See if the light comes on when you blow the horn.
2a) If light comes on, clean connections at horn and see if it works. If not, horn itself is broken
3) If test light doesn't come on, the problem is more than likely in the steering column horn button. Go through and clean it's connections and try again.

Also check your horn relay. It should be right next to the horn. When you push on the horn you should hear it clicking.

2nd that. I replaced my relay (small white cube) after blowing out my horn during an extended honk. Street preacher had a megaphone, you know how these things go...

Anyway, couple of bucks at the dealer and I'm back in (honking) business.

An easy way to determine if it's the horn or something else is to just run a wire from + on the battery to the horn contact. Watch your ears!

The problem with my horn ended up being the springed brass button on the turn signal switch has died. You may need a new switch. There is also a springed button in the turn signal canceller. My relay was not next to the horns but under the dash near where your left ankle would be if you were setting your parking brake.

Just install two air horns like I did. That will get their attention. If you need a factory horn I have one you can have for the cost of shipping, or atleast when I cna get around to pulling it out.

Another thing to check,if your's is like my '88, is the horn circuit is routed thru the ignition switch. It has to be on for the horn to work.
