My temp gage doesn't work on my 87 GW. I've rplaced the sender to no avail. Any recommendations on how to diagnose the problem?

Have you followed the wire back to the gauge to see if it's ok? Then have you checked the gauge itself? Are you sure the sender is good? Just because it's new doesn't mean it works. I've had a lot of new parts that don't work lately.

I'm assuming it's pegged low...is there a working thermostat in the engine, do you get heat?

the temp gauge as the gas gauge they work on resistence so what u can try is to graund the cables that goes to your sending unit if the gauge goes all the way up after this that means it is working if not then u might have a bad gauge you can always take the instrument panel and check it out
