well I got my 3" lift installed yesterday...easy job, I was blessed with happy bolts!.....total time 4.5 hours, and thanks for everyone who posted their tips and tricks, and also Todd for the section of your website..I like your idea on the bumper brackets....
now to the revelation....WHY THE HECK DID I NOT DO IT SOONER!!!!!!!
Man that would have made my life so easy....you can actually access the drivetrain, those stupid rubber hoses on the top of the gas tank....I spent 2 hours dropping the tank one day to change those hoses....with the body lift it would have taken me 2 minutes!!!......more room for exhaust install....header install would have been easy....should I go on???? so if anyone is comtemplating doing any extensive work on their FSJ, do the body lift first, not last!

Sounds cool, do you have any before and after pics.
Did you actually gain 3 full inches?
I am trying to decide on a two or three inch lift.
wht size tires do you run?

It is amazing how much more room you gain. The accessability to many parts are enhanced. Even tha right rear spark plug!! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
