where's the rest of it?

Well, i'm peiceing my 258 together and noticed there is a wire connection going to my distibutor, but where is the rest of it? Shouldn't their be a ignition modual(sp)? how would i go about finding the right one, or should I just scap it and get something else?

Do you have an old points type dist? I don't know if the points ones need modules...?

Anyway, the easiest thing to do is the HEI conversion. Get a chevy 250 I6 dist. and put an AMC gear on it. Hook up a hot wire and bam you've got a great ignition system.

thats what I did and it is probably the easiest upgrade you will ever do.
