Does anybody out there know of a better faster shifting tranny than my T-18A? How about a 5 speed? It must be a direct replacement, with a minumum of modification!! Does Hurst or anyone else make a shifter Kit for this tranny? I get 2nd and 4th out of mine now! The shifter handle just spins around when trying to put it in 3rd or reverse. Lucky there is no grinding or chatter, so I dont think the tranny itself is hurt, just the shifter (I THINK)
