I have dual tanks on my 87 GW. Does anyone know if PVC will stand up to gasoline. I want to install butterfly valves in my filler tubes so I can control where the gas goes. If PVC is no good, any alternatives?

I wouldn't recommend it. I learned at Distribution school that PVC is not allowed in areas where gasoline is stored. It'll pass thru the PVC and contaminate the water supply.
If it were me, I'd spend the extra money and get brass ball valves, but then again I get 'em at wholesale.

pvc pipe will last all of about 10 minutes or so, in a gasoline, or fuel vapor environment.

it doesn't like gas, sort of like styrofoam
