Here are the axle wrap bars I built.... same material as the pre-runner bar up front. If ANY of you are running 35's or better... I HIGHLY suggest fabbing some. The difference is AWESOME!!!! Instant response and much firmer.... the difference is day and night. Now it can limit your articulation somewhat but that can be adjusted by loosening up the front bushings... I am designing a "hinged" mount up front that will work even better for articulation... don't know when I will have it done... kinda done til I move...here they are:

Hey Todd, they look great. I had a pair that I bought from JC Whitney. Those look to be the same? The bad news I broke them at big bear. That bushing on the frame mount did not have the movement needed and it broke the angle iron mount. Hope you have better luck http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/smile.gif

Mike,
Thanks...I had those JCW's... modified to what you see now... they didn't fit with my lift, so I fabbed new brackets and bigger pipes. The front mounts are from a 5-ton shock mount... they should'nt break... http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

If movement is an issue wouldn't heim joints work better for articulation? Not critiquing, quality looks great!

The heim joints was a thought... but the problem lies in in the droop of the axle. When the axle droops, it tends to swing forward and down.. the bushings only allow so much forward movement. The tweakin capabilites are good cuz of the way the front mount is fabbed.
Hehe... I got used to the altitude up there already.... not too bad... but otherss that ride with me tend to get light headed! http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
