door locks

my door locks lock all by them selves...
when im driving my locks slide down. when I shut my door the locks slide down. I have to pull them up to get out of the heap. any ideas what this could be?? please let me know

Take them apart and clean them. Dirt builds up and wrecks havoc on the springs. Might even look at replacing the springs or unit altogether. I am in the process of replacing mine.

use some electric replacement off ebay,or any car alarm store.... for about $10 a pair.... even if you do not have electric door lock... the spring in the unit will overide the lack or the weakness of your current springs

It is a broken spring in the mechanism. You will have to get one from a parts vehicle because they are not available individually. They only sell the entire mechanism.
