Bogging on acceleration

Just a gut check......if, when cruising, I accelerate and the engine stumbles and bogs noticeably, is that a power valve problem? The carb was recently rebuilt with a new power valve, but it may have blown....btw, this is on my '91 Wag with stock 2150.

When you had the carb rebuilt did they drill out the throttle shaft and put in new bushing?

I had a good vaccum leak coming through the housing that caused that same reaction.

have you checked the diaphragm in the booster pump?

Peter...nope, I'm not even sure where it is. I'll break out the manuals in a couple of minutes and search for it.

Kukur...this is a recent phenomenon. It's been running great up until yesterday.

Check your plug wires and the wire from the coil to the dist.
