first off im blonde but not that blonde. :D :D ive got the engine sitting on the frame with no wiring harnes on it. i want to start up the engine to make sure it still runs. how would i go about doing this? run a wire from the + side of the coil the the + bat. post and then to the starter?

can you give me a lil more info? i understand running the wire from the coil to the batt. but what about the starter? do i just touch the wire to the starter til it kicks over or do i attach it to the starter?

just hold it on the starter

thanks. i might keep this engine if she still runs. also, will any th400 out of another jeep bolt up to my 360? or should i just rebuild my 727?

let me give somemore detail here, this will be a trail rig, not a street rig so i want power and good traction
