What is the size of the eyes in a 79 wags shocks

I Geuss the easy way to find the answer is to ask another question: what model rs5### or rs9### have you guys used with a 4"lift"?

First, measure the shock bolt, that will tell you if it's an EB1=5/8" or an EB2=3/4".

Meaure the bolt to bolt centers with weight on it (no shocks on)and then calculate your extention and compression lengths.

Porkchop has the Rancho master catalog but you can also use this.

It says Toyota but follow the directions and you'll find the right ones.

My 1970 is 4" lift front, 5' lift rear = RS5126 all around.

Muddywag...go to www.gorancho.com (http://www.gorancho.com) and check out their application charts. The way they code the sizes has also changed, fo example my 79s codes begin with L1. HTH

OK...I just noticed that you also drive a 79, so our "size codes" should be the same. I just ordered a set of rs5010s. smile.gif
