I'm putting the front end of a '76 Waggy onto a Jeepster commando; swapping in the waggy axles. I'm also using the springs as well which means I will have to outboard the springs. What is the distance vertical, horizontal, and straight-line between the two spring hangers or spring-eyes? I want to make sure and get the proper arch in the springs...Thanks...

Sounds like fun. My 76 TSM gives the frame dimension between the pivot hole on the rear of the front spring and the pivot hole for the front shackle as 45.26 inches (measured on the ground).

this might be of some help. not sure on the length but this might help on where to mount them.
leaf spring tech (http://www.rpmnet.com/techart/leaf.shtml)
Ther horizontal distance is 45.26"
The verticle distances in the book for the fore and aft hangers are from an arbitrary datum line but shows the forward hanger mounted 6.59" higher than the aft.
