Head Question

I am installing roller rockers on my '82 360 V8. I need to know how much to mill off the stud bosses to accomodate the rockers. It needs to be done because right now there is a 5/16" gap between the rocker and the pushrod.

The roller rocker mfg. should be able to tell you how much. Or, you may have the wrong pushrods. I'd just call their tech. line and ask. Phone call is cheaper than ruining a set of heads, or worse, the whole valve train guessing.

i agree with the Sarge seems to me like there should be pushrods availible for this application but then again when did the world ever start making sense

Remember that AMC used Chevy pushrods on the V8's, so thay are available in any lenght.
