Is there any difference between early 360 cranks?
Can you fit a manual trans to an engine that was set up for auto?
Do you just need a pilot bushing and flywheel?

I have heard that the early cranks were not drilled for the pilot bushing. I have no idea how accurate this info is

This one is out of a '78 Waggy w/auto, has a bushing in the back of the crank... why on an auto I not sure.
Hump, I'm not too sharp with text messaging (or maybe some other things too for that matter), what is "btt"?

All the mid 70's will be able to use the auto or stick I think its EARLY 70's that have the problem. 78 will be no problem. BTT = Back to Top. So this topic gets viewed first :D

That's great, thanks for the info!

My 78 360 had the hole for a pilot bushing, but not the pilot bushing.
