Like the subject says. Get it all warmed up and get up to higher Rpm's (around 55 or so) and its sputters and dies. The only way it doesnt is to keep the timing and idle up pretty high...is it the vacuum advance or something else? Known porblems are exhaust leak....please respond slowly with small words smile.gif

Clogged fuel-filter or fuel-lines?
Dirty air-filter or fuel-tank pickup sock?
Weak fuel-pump output?
Did this problem come on suddenly, or gradually?

Suddenly when I drove it at high Rpms for the first time in 6 months (been sitting previously). The fuel filter is brand new and so is the air filter.

Check vacuum hoses that are supplied from manifold vacuum. If there of any age at all, pull them off each nipple and cut 1/2" or so off. Makes sure theres a tight connection.
I had similar prob, vacuum hose to heater vacuum resiviour (sp) cracked at nipple on manifold. Jeep ran like crap as the crack grew, almost broke off completely, started suddenly.
You could also check manifold gasket and carby gaskets. Hook up a vacuum gauge, may help diagnose if vacuum related.
