changing accelerator pump

when you guys did this were you able to do it with various lengths of screwdrivers or did temporarily disconnect all the crap blocking it? by crap i mean vac hoses and plug wires. it looks simple but i could not figure out the fastest way

A long (12 in.) phillips screwdriver will get in there.

really depends on the year - move all the crap aside and you can get to it - not directly, but you can.
