another question, suposedly ,my gw has had the r134 conversion. my compressor wouldnt turn on, so I bypassed the switch next to the peep glass, and the compressor turned on, but still no cold air. does this mean that fluid is so low that switch wont allow compressor to turn on? Second problem, Ive got a can of 134 with guage, but adapter on the can will not fit the low side valve of the system to get a reading. Is there more than one type of 134 connection valves, or is the conversion sticker lying, or did someone do a half arsk job doing the conversion? Any help appreciated, its getting hot. thanks

The switch by the sight glass is a high pressure switch and should have continuity unless press. gets too high. If no continuity, then switch is bad. There is only one set of fittings for 134a. The low side fitting should be a small quick disconnect the high side should be a large one. Operating pressures should be 30-35 low side, 200-250 high side. Mine blows 38-48 deg. depending on ambiant temp.

whats the best way to discharge the system. Or should I say the easiest, lest expensive way, I know what the right way would be. Just open that valve and let it flow????
