How can I tell what the gearing ratio is in the front and rear axles of my 89 and 91 SJ's from the outside of the axle housings? Is there a way? Some sort of markings on the differentials or a tag of some sort on the outer axle housing? Will any of these identifiers tell me if one or both of these rear axles are positive traction rear ends? I believe the 91 has limited slip, but I've not seen the 89 up in the air moving in 2wd on jack stands like I have the 91.
