Anyone know the original willy's tire size? (FSJ related)

I need to know this so I can figure out my speed since I put in the D18. It seems to be further off than before. I never did like the someone else drive beside me trick, but I will use that as a last resort. Thanks.

The 18 shouldn't have changed anything as 2 high is still 1:1 ratio. Or didn't you get it fixed after your ticket? What happened with that? I must have been in AZ when you went to court. If you tell about your ticket I'll tell about mine.

It will change since the gear inside the t-case is a different ratio depending on tire size. This is from what I was told. If you go to here (http://www.4lo.com) they have a good calc to use to figure it all out.

I talked to the attonery and he said since I had proof my speedo was off and don't have a record, he told me to pay a court admin fee of $50 and it would be deferred for 6 months. When I went and paid the lady at the court house said that since I paid it the ticket is dismissed. They never defer them since it is to much paper work and they just dismiss them. :D :D So it only cost me $50 instead of the $207 it would have been.

That worked out good for you, glad to hear it. As far as the gear ratio in the tcase the output in 2 high is still 1:1 no matter what tires you run. Or do you mean the speedo gear for the speedometer? Have a nice friendly MP pace with you at 20,30,40,50 and 60 if you can. Every time he lets you know how fast you're going compare it with what you see on your speedo and take notes. Then you know how far you're off and can fix it.
As for my ticket, I was pulling a car trailer with my crew cab in Salt Lake City at 630 pm on a Fri in rush hour traffic. I had a lady in a little car weaving in and out of my lane as we were driving, I was watching her and the light I was comming up to. As we got to the intersection the light was green, she swerved over again I watched her for a min, then looked at the light again it was yellow, and went on through. She barely managed to stop and I drove on. The cop stopped me a mile or so down the road for running the light. He said he saw the lady but she managed to stop and not hit me and the light was red when the trailer went through it but didn't see the truck in the intersection when it was red. I went to court over it, the cop lied on the stand. He had me in the wrong lane forgot about the lady and said the light was red before I got there. I told my part to the Judge. He dropped the points and made an adminastration fine of $60 and that was that. After we were done the Judge asked if I had any questions, all I asked was weren't both the cop and I both supposed to tell the truth? He was talking to the cop when I left. Pissed me off, the lying SOB. And a 400 mile trip to and from court to boot.......
