HEI conversion.......

Can anyone tell me what distributor from what GM is needed to do the HEI swap on a 360? I have seen them in Jeep catalogs, $350! I did the HEI swap in my CJ for $100. Can't see spending an extra $250 if I don't have to. Thanks!!!!! ;)

None of the GM disty bodys are a direct fit into the AMC V8.
The choices out there that I know of are:
1) modified GM dizy body, Some are welded some are
just cut up GM bodys
2) New body with GM insides (D.U.I.) is one source

Have seen option 1 in the $100 range, option 2
in the $300 range.
