you could grenade one and thats not fun. if you grenade one, it very well could mess up the yokes.

Or worse, like the rear driveshaft front u-joint breaking, dropping down, and KAPOW!!! Pole vault. Not likely, but I saw it on T.V. once. U-joints are probably about $20 odd each, and aren't that hard to do.

If the double-cardan joint goes out, the driveshaft whipping around can take out your tranny; literally, I mean it whips around and takes chunks out of your tranny case.

u-joints at Napa are $8.77 give or take depending on taxes in your area, and the fix is one banana...I had to do this Saturday.
