I'm having trouble locating the problem. I've got a major vibration at all RPM's in all gears including park and neutral. The tranny recently received a rebuid. Prior to the rebuild there was no vibration of this kind. I suspect the flex palte is warped or out of balance, but is there any chance it's being caused by the torque converter?

Crawl under your truck and see if the transmission mounts are attached to the cross frame.

If the flexplate was bent or warped you you hear a grinding noise. If the torque convertor was bad you probably wouldn't move at all. Was the torque convertor replaced when the transmission was worked on?

If a shop did the work, just bring it back.

I vote for the torque converter being bad. My bud "Cotton" a trans man from way back says if the vibration is felt in park, after reving the motor...its the T C......

just a thought, check your waterpump. see if it might move up and down.
