On my 89 G-wag the gas gauge isn't working like its supposed. When started it rockets right up to full, it even buries the needle past full. Also, the temp gauge seems to be working, but it doesn't seem all that accurate. It seems to slowly work past the blue region, even after being ran for 30 minutes or so.

If its the fuel sending unit, if you guys suggest to me some comparable prices for it, that would be good too. smile.gif

Any Help would be/is appreciated.

Chances are, your sending unit has a bad ground. The same thing happened to my 86. I pulled the ground wire off...the ground tab came away with the connector...then cleaned up the area with a dremmel. Then I drilled a small hole through the sender (be careful!) where the ground was. I then crimped a ring terminal onto the ground wire and bolted it into the hole with a stainless self tapper. My guage has been working just fine since. Hope that helps!
