Have an AMC digital stereo that I picked up at the boneyard that I am trying to put into my TJ (long story).

Anyways, I have 6 leads out the back (not including the speaker leads out the side, or the antenna hook up.

I have a white lead, a blue, an orange, a black, a red, and a brown, which has a 7.5 amp fuse in it.

Can anyone identify them for me? I tried using the black as the ground, and the brown as the main power (and the red also) but cannot power up the unit. The schematic in my Haynes manual is not even close to the right color coding.

From what I remember the blue and the red need to be hooked up in order to work. blue is ign, red should be constant 12, black is ground, orange is accy lights?, and I dunno what brown is(clock?).....red might be accessory.....This was from an amc radio I once installed... I dont remember much else. Try blue and red to 12v and ground to test, if not then its blue and orange with black grounded. Almost the same as the digital clock.Hope this helps!
