what is going on here. stupid PO? or dumb me?

is that normal? it doesnt look normal. i doubt my 4wd works, ive never really tried it yet. when i did it didnt feel like it shifted, which i figured i would feel. can anyone explain whats going on here?

Everything in that picture is stock, and hooked up the way it should be.The check-valve connected to the vertical hoses that hookes into that vacuum-line sends the vacuum to the red plastic line, which goes to the center-port on your 4wd switch. Then that switch sends vacuum to either the yellow or green vacuum line, which is plugged into a metal line that goes down to your shift-motor on the transfer-case.

arite. i was wondering because it looks as if the red line should plug next to the yellow. with the oddities i already found wrong, i wasnt sure if this was on the list.
