With the motor running, pkace a screwdriver near the pully, and compare the tip of the screwdriver to the edge of the pully...this should give you a reading of how straight/bent the pully may be.

WHAT ARE WE TALKING HERE???ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT THE PULLEY THE BELTS RIDE IN OR THE DAMPER PULLEY ITSELF??? IF THE DAMPER IS RUNNING OUT OF ROUND....YOU BETTER CHECK THAT SUCKER OUT!!!! !!!....BENT BELT PULLEY,JUST REPLACE IT....  ON THE FAN SHROUD...JUST CHECK IT OUT AT THE BONEYARD WHAT YOU NEED..IT'S A GOOD TIME TO DO IT!!! ;) ;)

The shroud is held on by the bolts that hold the radiator in place, I'm real sure because I put a brand new radiator on in december of last winter and 3 weeks later the fan went through the radiator so I got to do it again.
And I replaced the water pump about 3 weeks ago, when I did, I took the radiator out again because I didn't want to take a chance on buying another radiator. I guaranttee I do know how it all goes together. The shroud is made so you can slide it on without taking everything out, it is not held together it does not connect across the bottom part of it.
