All i have to say is NIGHTMARE the directions sent to me were so smooth and seemed like a no problem install. thats a load of bs . Just a word to the wise if your thinking of doing this make sure you have at least 5-6 hours to work with. OK this is my question when i took the gear off the old dizzy there was a washer at the top of the gear with a notch where it kept it in place on the end of the actual dizzy. When i took the gear off the old dizzy and put on new dizzy it had no place for the tab in that lil washer thing togo so i didn't put it on the HEI dizzy ? is this gonna screw up or wear anything faster than normal ? i hope someone can understand what i just said thanks

The one I installed had the washer/tooth thing on the HEI I just removed my gear and put it on the new HEI dizzy and installed. Longest part was fitting incorrect wires on it "I wish these guys would come up with a better fitting part"
it runs good..
If it has the wrong depth or can move up and down too much you might wear it out.. or bump stuff it's not supposed to be bumping.
