Transmission troubles

Drove PsyOp to the end of the driveway, stopped and left it running then went back and no go. It would not move in any gear. There was a little movement some times but it would not go in any direction.

The transmission is a 727.

Did you check the fluid??? If it leaks below a certain level, it's not going to move. Make sure your transfer case shifter is firmly in a range.

Check the fluid 90% of the time this is the problem.

Checked the fluid and I am good to go. Anything else?

I had that problem when it was cold outside(several months ago)and I checked the fluid level and according to the dipstick it was full but having 2 other cars with 727's I'm familiar with their quirks when even slightly low on fluid so I put about 3/4 of a quart in it anyway and the problem went away. I think my dip stick must be less than accurate and yours might be too.
