Power mods?

Anybody got any ideas on how to make my 83 wag run better? Its got a 258 in it, have to smog it so nothing to insane.

HEI or TFI ignition, RV cam, offy intake, and i guess try to make the BBD run well.... If you didnt have to do the anual smog thing then i would say go weber 32/36 carb. I put one on my 81 J10 and it made a big differance. But up here where i am (by yosemite) we have no anual smog checks.

Mopar MPI kit is CARB legal in all 50 states, Rebuild with .060 over and higher compression (depending on if you can get gas to suport it).

Find one from a Chevy 250.

Search the archives...you should be able to find info. You will need to change the input gear but that is it!

Put on a 4.0L head & fuel injection.....

if that ain't enough, build a stroker motor.....
