Hi All
I need some suggestions on how to get the CO down below limits.
I took My 85 Grand Wagoneer in for its two year test. Well It Passes everything except CO.
Here are the readings

Readings / Limit
HC 3.3613 / 6.0 Good
CO 106.0934 / 45.0 BAD!
CO2 676.8328 / No limit, Can't be good though
NOX 1.8155 / 12 Good

I know I need to lean it out(A ton)
Are there any other suggestions you guys have?

Leaning it out should help a lot.

They sell this stuff in the auto parts houses you can pour into your gas tank that will temporarily clean you up to pass the test. I forget what it is called but a buddy of mine could not get his J truck to pass and used that stuff and was able to breeze through the emmissions test.

My Chief is pre-82, so it only does the tailpipe sniffer in Denver. My friends who fail the road test go to Don's Carburetor at 29th and Sheridan. Bring in your test results and he will fix it. Pretty reasonable and your GW will run better.
