Tranny break-in

Anything special I need to know about running a newly rebuilt tranny? Plan on running plain ol oil or gear lube, whichever required.

Typical break in for a manual tranny. Run the normal gear oil for 100 to 500 miles and change it out for fresh oil of your choice. No more to worry about. Unless you have somehting special, this is all that's needed.
Also, using a magnetic drain plug is a good thing.
