Hi ya all, gald to see the forum back! My 90 GW has a hesitation on initial acceleration when in drive while engine is warming up. It can stall the engine if you don't "Great Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley MoogleyGreat Googley Moogley foot the pedal" when pulling out from a stop. This generally stops when the engine is warmed up, but I can still feel a slight hesitation when tromping the gas. Any Ideas? Thanks

First thing to check is the choke. This would be the most obvious culprit. Make sure it is adjusted correctly and is not sticking.

Most likely the problem is in the choke pull off or choke adjustment. (round thing side of carb) You could loosen the three screws and turn it a little in either direction and see if it helps. Mark the original location, I use liquid paper, so you have a refernce point. This usually occurs at the change of seasons. before i went with the edelbrock set up I always had to tinker with the choke.

If this does not help you may have to take it to a shop who knows thier way around a carburator. Make sure you ask arround for a shop that has a good carb guy.
