My stock Holly 2bbl carb is starting to go out. I don't have the service manual in front of me so i'm not sure of the model#. I found a 500 cfm 2bbl in the PAW catalog that I would like to use for the replacement I think it's a model 2500? Is it compatable with my intake manifold? Don't really want to search for a 4bbl intake manifold for a 327 AMC. Thanks for any help.

That's the same one I used on my 327 and now use it on my 360. Good carb. I like it. Once you put it on you can get rid of the oil filled air intake also, if you still had it. http://www.ifsja.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey Porkchop, did the carb bolt on without any modifications to the linkages or the sort?

Got any ideas about what cfm and part number would work to replace a holley 4 barrel with original intake?

Off the top of my head, a model 4300 in the 650cfm maybe even a 750cfm range for that big hungry 401.

It bolted right up as far as I could tell. The PO had put it on.
