Can anyone recomend a place that has a crank included with the master rebuild kit for a 258. I wanted to see if just the whole guts is cheaper/less headache than finding a grindable one. only, I cant seem to find a kit that includes the crank. Am I missing somehting???

Call PAW in california. Their number is:
1.818.678.3000. I think I saw the crank master kit the other day in the catalog.

No one offers a master rebuild kit with a crank, as far as I'm aware....

I was looking through PAW's 2001 catalog tonight. I haven't gotten a 2002 yet. The master rebuild kit including crank was available for the 258 for $650.00 with cast pistons. It contains all stock components. It's probably a little higher now, but I suspect they still have one, but you should call the number that was posted above.
mtn goat,
Very unfamialer with a crankshaft or how they are purchased. That note about the counterweights, is that some information I need to know when I check the price for you?

beats me, This is the first engine I am rebuilding. Anyone else know what this means? I am assuming that since its for a stock replacement, that it will work just fine in my jeep. keep in mind I dont need a hot rod.
