I have a bellhousing that was behind a 327 Kaiser engine. There was some mention that this may be a BOP bolt pattern?
Can anyone confirm or deny this?

It has a bolt pattern unique to Rambler engines. Not the same as AMC or BOP.

The 327 was a AMC motor but with a bolt pattern of its own.
I don't think so Joe. Was there an adapter between the bellhousing and block? The TH400 AT's pre-74 ran a Buick nailhead pattern but used an adapter to mate it to an AMC motor(327/360) but I "think?" the 327 pattern is it's own unique pattern unlike the later 304/360/401 etc AMC patterns.
If I'm wrong here hopefully someone will jump in and correct me.
Looks like while I was hunting-finding-pushing my reply someone already gave ya the gospel. ;)

They are in fact different as the others have said. When I pulled My old 327 to put in the 360 I held the bellousing from the 327 up to the 360 to look at the differences. They are close but the bolt holes are further apart on the 327.

The 327 shares it's pattern with the 230 ohc Kaiser from what I understand.
