Do all the J series have the visor above the windshield? Marc :cool:

No.......the visor ceased to exist in 1980 or 81...my 82 dont have one........less wind resistance I guess....

My 79 has it and the 81 I had did not

Hey all,
My 80 J-10 Has it, I think they did away w/ it because it was a poor design. (I like the wind resistance one like the big flat nose is aerodynamic) :D I hate the visor. Mine rotted out at each corner where the A-post meets the roof.Not exactly the easiest of places to repair.I have seen 79's w/out them and i have seen some w/ them. So I'm not so sure what the reasoning was behind them. Just my Experiences.
