Front diff vent tube routing

Hi:

I spent the better part of the morning under or in my new 86 GW. Turns out a PO (not a DSPO) cut the vent tube about 1" fronm the front diff. Where is it supposed to be routed!

( I am posting separate questions -- hope this is the correct way to go :confused: ))

on my 85 gw it runs up along the radiater on pass. side. it has a clip mounted to the upper rad bolt
