there is a threaded hole on roof above tailgate window anybody no if this is for something if not gonna seal it water is getting in there

I have 2 holes up there, but they are for my wing. Not sure about why just one is up there.

My 79 Chero & 87 GW have the same thing never could figure it out though. Hope somebody out there can solve our mysterious hole.

I've got the luggage rack and the power rear window and a tow package options.
Seems like an option or an aftermarket.
