It can be done but you will need help with the chip and the caddy TBI is probably only for a 4.3 liter engine. You will need new injectors for a 5.7 liter. The best resource for this conversion in my opinion is TPIGUyS site

http://www.customefis.com/The Caddy systems were early Digital EFI and nobody that I know of can reprogram those chips. So forget using the Caddy computer. The throttle body can be used, however, for the price of the later GM TBIs, it is usually not worth the trouble. The reason is the Caddy TBIs used a solenoid on the throttle linkage to control idle speed (they don't have the idle control motor like the later TBIs do), and none of the later ECMs can control that solenoid. So you either have to have an on-off idle speed solenoid that you control from inside the vehicle, or build a remote idle control motor housing to put a more recent idle control motor in that the ECM can control. Also, the Caddy injectors are for a 4.5L engine I believe and will be too small for a 360. The good news is that you can install later 5.7L injectors in the Caddy throttle body and it will work. You just have to deal with the idle speed control issue.
