Cracked Plastic Valve Cover

My valve cover is leaking oil all down the back of my 258 and tranny. This is handy in one way, for rust proofing. On the other hand it smokes like a Ford and goes through oil like it's goin' out of style.I was looking for some opinions on a replacement metal cover. I've seen kits and was wondering if anyone has installed one.
Can a 4 litre cover be adapted with some drilling and tapping? Thanks in advance!

The after market aluminum cast valve cover is great I have installed lots of them. The cover of a 4.0 litre will not work. The aftermarket cover is well worth the $$$$ :D :D

They work well. Check w/4WD Hardware at www.4wd.com (http://www.4wd.com) I think theirs is about $110. Not bad figuring a plastic replacement is $70.
